How can I report a lost or stolen card?
To report your Bank of Ireland Credit Card lost/stolen please telephone the appropriate number listed below. If you lose your Bank of Ireland Credit Card, or if it is stolen, please advise us IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, you will be liable for any losses incurred up to the time you do actually report the loss to us.
We have a 24-hour service to take all the necessary details, cancel the lost or stolen Credit Cards and arrange that new Credit Cards are sent to you. Remember, thieves work quickly - so should you.

How do I use my Credit Card with Chip and PIN?
- Insert your Card in the Pin Reader
- Check that the amount is correct and enter your PIN discreetly
- You will be given a receipt, but will not have to sign it
- Always check your receipts against your monthly statements
What do I do if my enter my PIN for my Credit Card incorrectly?
Remember you have three attempts to get your PIN correct before your card is locked. If you remember your PIN you can unblock your card at an ATM or you can request a new PIN by calling 1890 365 010

At home
You can use your credit card in over 40,000 retailers in Ireland to pay for almost anything including holidays, eating out, utility bills, etc.
Abroad
Your credit card will allow you to pay for goods and services in over 22 million outlets worldwide, wherever the MasterCard/Visa symbol is displayed. Using your credit abroad is much safer than carrying cash and is very convenient. Credit cards can also offer more competitive exchange rates than travellers cheques.
On the phone
You can use your credit card to make phone bookings for cinema/ concert tickets or flights.
Online
You can use your credit card online also. Make sure to use secure websites when shopping online - look for a key or lock symbol at the bottom left of browser window. (Insert image of lock)
Remember Never reveal your PIN when shopping online or over the phone

If you hold a Bank of Ireland current account, you can use the Bnak of Ireland 365 service to make payments to your credit card account at a time that suits you, online, by phone at 1890 365 365 or through a Bank of Ireland 365 cash ATM. To register for this free service log on to www.365online.ie or call 1890 365 365

Express Lodgement in Branch
Simply complete the Bank giro slip at the bottom of your monthly credit card statement, enclose it along with a payment and place it in the express lodgement box in your nearest branch.
