Planting the seed
At Bank of Ireland we understand the financial challenges that developing businesses can face at an early start-up stage. That's why we've set up the new Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund (SESEF) for SMEs. Managed by Kernel Capital on behalf of Bank of Ireland, and with a fund value of €26m, our SESEF has been created to support Irish companies and university spin-offs that are at their early and growth stages..
Watching it grow
SESEF seeks to make investments of between €100,000 and €500,000 in start-up and early stage enterprises that have a great idea for products, have the potential to export and are operating in the following sectors: technology, including green technology, food and financial services sectors, in addition to supporting patent and patent pending projects within Irish universities.
So, whether you're looking to expand or develop your business activities, want to introduce innovations or new technology into your company, fund R&D or acquire new technology, then our SESEF could be the financial support you're looking for.*
How do I apply?
Our SESEF will be managed on behalf of Bank of Ireland by Kernel Capital who have been appointed Investment Managers. If you would like to know more about the fund and how to apply, then please visit the Kernel Capital website at www.kernelcapital.ie, contact:
